The Agricultural Gypsum consists of dihydrated calcium sulfate (CaSO4.2H2O), a mineral of abundant occurrence.
Gypsum is an excellent source of calcium that is essential for most nutrients to be absorbed by plants roots and offers a readily available form of sulfate sulfur, a valuable secondary nutrient that benefits both soil and crop.
Reduces erosion by increasing the ability of soil to soak up water after precipitation, thus reducing runoff.
Improves soil conditions much more rapidly than lime and will affect soil conditions to a greater depth than lime will, as well as, supply calcium to deeper depths.
This will improve subsoil conditions, and allow for greater root growth (better nutrient and water efficiency).
