What is Bokashi?

Bokashi is a mixture of bran, molasses (sugar and water), and natural beneficial microorganisms (lactic acid bacteria, yeast fungi, photosynthetic organisms, acnomycetes and enzyme-active fungi) that initiates the fermentation process and prevents decay in any type of composter.

After the fermentation process is complete, the organic waste retains all the essential nutrients (especially nitrogen) that would otherwise disappear by decomposition.

As a result, fermented organic waste is an excellent base for premium compost.

Get optimal results by adding it directly to the substrate as a soil improver before planting, or spreading it on top of the soil during cultivation.
