The importance

The water heater is a tool that allows you to optimize the irrigation water tanks with the right temperature to water the plants.

In winter and especially in cold areas, the water in the tank can reach extremely cold temperatures for the plants.

When we water with this cold water, we cause a great stress to the plant, slowing down its metabolism.

At what temperature?

The ideal temperature in a tank should be between 18 and 24 ºC. A lower temperature would cause stress and slow growth.

A higher temperature than recommended would cause problems of lack of oxygen in the nutrient solution and, in extreme cases, an infection by pathogens.

Observation

Unplug the heater 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution for increased equipment longevity.
