GroLab™ Modules Firmware Update – June 2023

Today we released new firmware versions for the GroLab™ modules (GroNode, PowerBot, TankBot, and SoilBot). Below you can find the release notes for these versions.

Release Notes

GroNode (all versions) v1.0.7.5 (2023-06-15):

  • Updated e-mail notifications engine (the notifications should work normally again);
  • Improved power fail handling;
  • Code cleanup;
  • Other minor changes and improvements.

PowerBot (all versions) v1.x.0.18 (2023-06-15):

  • Added a new communication paradigm based on small frames (GroNode v1.0.7.4 or higher is required);
  • Added a new method to handle a timed action (Alarms/Schedules), if the active time is lower than 3600s (1Hour), PowerBot will handle that active time directly (GroNode v1.0.7.4 or higher is required);
  • Improved Combined CO2 Sensor handling;
  • Improved ping command;
  • Improved firmware version comparison tools;
  • Changed security shutdown default timer to 5 minutes;
  • Fixed cooldown timer not properly initialized;
  • Code cleanup;
  • Other minor changes and improvements.

SoilBot (all versions) v1.x.0.14 (2023-06-15):

  • Added a new communication paradigm based on small frames (GroNode v1.0.7.4 or higher is required);
  • Improved ping command;
  • Improved firmware version comparison tools;
  • Changed security shutdown default timer to 5 minutes;
  • Changed default sampling moisture time to 10 minutes;
  • Fixed cooldown timer not properly initialized;
  • Code cleanup;
  • Other minor changes and improvements.

TankBot (all versions) v1.x.0.15 (2023-06-15):

  • Added a new communication paradigm based on small frames (GroNode v1.0.7.4 or higher is required);
  • Added a new method to handle a timed action (Alarms/Schedules), if the active time is lower than 3600s (1Hour), TankBot will handle that active time directly (GroNode v1.0.7.4 or higher is required);
  • Improved ping command;
  • Improved firmware version comparison tools;
  • Changed security shutdown default timer to 5 minutes;
