GroLab™ Modules Firmware Update – January 2020

Today we released new firmware versions for the GroLab™ modules (GroNode, PowerBot, SoilBot, and TankBot). Below you can find the release notes for these versions.

 

Release Notes

GroNode (all versions) v1.0.6.8:

  • Fixed not being able to calculate the recurrence of a future schedule that has weekdays restrictions;
  • Fixed GroNode not logging after recovering from a power failure;
  • Fixed excessive retries when it is not possible to send the wake up e-mail notification;
  • Fixed day/night alarms being wrongly reset at day/night transition;
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;

PowerBot H2 v1.2.0.13:

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Fixed incoherences with the cool-down timer;
  • Implemented a new library to handle the temperature/humidity sensor sampling, this library is more reliable and should prevent sampling from blocking;
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;

PowerBot H3 v1.3.0.13:

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Fixed incoherences with the cool-down timer;
  • Improved switch and flood sensing;
  • Implemented a new library to handle the temperature/humidity sensor sampling, this library is more reliable and should prevent sampling from blocking;
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;

PowerBot H4 v1.4.0.13:

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Fixed incoherences with the cool-down timer;

PowerBot H5 v1.5.0.13:

  • Initial release for PowerBot hardware 5;

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Fixed incoherences with the cool-down timer;

TankBot H10 v1.10.0.13:

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Fixed incoherences with the cool-down timer;
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;

SoilBot H2 v1.2.0.11:

  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;

SoilBot H3 v1.3.0.11:

  • Initial release for SoilBot hardware 3;
  • Updated compiler (reduced memory usage and code space);
  • Moisture sample times are now independent both on sampling and calibration;
  • Other minor fixes and improvements;
